There is a first time for everything and this is it for me on a blog, kindly set up by MB who knew I was too lazy or stupid to do it myself. But the timing couldn't be better. I am pumped after the Vancouver boat show - we had a blast. Made some sales, got excellent press coverage and met a whole bunch of new great people. Hell, I even got on TV and who cares if they screwed up my name!! What more could you want for a newbie boat show experience. My only complaint - couldn't find a pair of shoes that would treat my feet nicely for 12 hours on the floor. I'll be doing some serious research before heading off to the Strictly Sail Show in Oakland in April.

Wanted to extend a huge thanks to all those who helped us get the Rocket 22 ready in time for the show. The Rocket team has been busting our butts, pulling almost all nighters, to get ready for this show and we made it. Were almost screwed at the last minute by a strike (don't get me going on this one). But we made it and it was worth every minute. But like I said before, it would have been impossible without the help of some dedicated and hardcore Rocket 22 fanatics including Mike, Shawn, Ken, Al, Darren and of course our wives who put up with our madness! I'm always totally freaked out by naming people knowing for sure that I have forgotten someone. If I have, sorry, but know that we couldn't have done it without you.
